Maybe

Episode 109 Maybe

Episode 109 (mp3)

Call Me Maybe (First Live Performance)

We’ve spent the offseason studying statistics, tracking depth charts, and convincing ourselves that we know what will happen.

Maybe the breakout is real. Maybe the veteran is finished. Maybe that “league-winner” is just a committee back with good publicity. Maybe the player everyone forgot is the best value on the board.

Today, we’re embracing the uncertainty and giving you our biggest “maybes” (and "maybe nots") for the 2026 fantasy season: the good, the bad, and the completely unpredictable.

Syncopated Draft

Episode 108 Syncopated Draft

Episode 108 (mp3)

The Syncopated Clock (Leroy Anderson)

Syncopation of music is all about shifting the emphasis to the weak beats, off-beats, and unexpected moments, which pretty much describes every fantasy draft we’ve ever been in!

In this episode, we broadcast our live Dress Rehearsal Draft as we gear up for the biggest weekend of the fantasy football season. Join Jim, Jerry, Gary, and Tom for a wild ride through an ESPN PPR draft, packed with strategy, surprises, tough decisions, and plenty of draft-day chaos.

We’re getting ready. We’re helping you get ready. It’s almost DRAFT DAY!

Somebody to Love

Episode 107 Somebody to Love

Episode 107 (mp3)  |  Somebody to Love (Rachel Potter)

In this episode we put a new spin on our annual Island of Misfit Toys episode. We still venture out to those less glamorous corners of the fantasy world  for tight ends, kickers and defenses, looking for undervalued gems after the popular choices have disappeared from the shelves.

This year, we're expanding the island. We'll also search for some overlooked “somebodies to love” at the glamour positions: quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers in rounds 16 through 20 and become the players you're very happy you found on draft day.

Because sometimes the best value in a fantasy draft isn't finding the player everybody loves, It's finding somebody to love before everybody else does.

Unwritten

Episode 106 Unwritten | Episode 106 (mp3)

Fantasy Inc Cheat Sheet (PDF)  |  Unwritten (Natasha Bedingfield)

The rankings are set. The tiers are built. The cheat sheet is ready. But your draft plan? That should still be unwritten. Host Jim Romano is joined by fantasy expert Jerry Carrington and special guest Gary LoPresto for our Mid-August look at fantasy football rankings, tiers, and draft-day cheat sheet. We break down the players we're targeting, the rankings we're questioning, and how tiers can help you make better decisions when you're on the clock. More importantly, we talk about why the best draft strategy may be not having a rigid strategy at all.

Don't force the draft you planned. Draft the team the room gives you. Bring your rankings. Know your tiers. Have your cheat sheet ready. Then keep the pencil in your hand and be willing to write outside the lines. Because on draft day, the rest is still UNWRITTEN!

Hot August Nights

Two Out of Three

Episode 104 Two Out of Three

Episode 104 (mp3)

In fantasy football, perfection is rare, but making the right choices more often than your league mates is what wins championships.

In Episode 104, the Fantasy Inc. crew welcomes Gary LoPresto for a fast-paced draft strategy discussion featuring "pick two out of three" player debates, value picks you'll draft even if you want them, need them, but there ain't no way you're ever gonna love them  love them! Also, some season outlook thoughts that can make or break your fantasy fortunes.

If you can consistently get two out of three decisions right, you'll be playing meaningful football in December, and most importantly be able to share your the journey with your fantasy friends!

Crappy Purple Scion

Episode 103 Crappy Purple Scion

Episode 103 (mp3)

The NFL offseason carousel is spinning and every move creates a new set of fantasy winners and losers. From A.J. Brown and Kenneth Walker to Mike Evans and John Harbaugh, the group follows the offseason dominoes and asks: Who really benefits? Because sometimes the biggest winner isn’t the player changing uniforms, it’s the one already waiting in the locker room.
